- Work with the commercial teams to ensure their commitment and engagement in the plans, in order to deliver perfect execution.
- Inspire and empower agencies to implement brilliantly - working pre-dominantly with promotions and media agencies.
- Champion the Spirits brand agenda across the region and collect findings.
- Cultivate an inclusive culture by creating psychological safety for your team and conditions to deliver strong team performance.
- Leads execution of the strategic marketing plans, with dedication and participation from key collaborators, to achieve volume, mix, market share and profit objectives.
- Leads the development of the brands Game Plans and ensures brand positioning is clear, consistent and distinctive. Champions the concept of brand equity in their brands.
- Handles client/agency relationship and challenges the agency to ensure the best possible output on the brand. Leads the agency to achieve innovative media plans which optimize the marketing budget and increase impact.
- Is responsible for the development of innovations and renovations which optimize the brands' equity. Assesses these through a clear understanding of brand values, consumer motivations and the competitive context.
- Uses data to anticipate competitive and consumer trends, assesses strategic implications and optimizes business potential based on analysis.
- Over 8 years of experience in marketing, including leadership roles; with a minimum 5 years experience in consumer marketing.
- Strong commercial exposure and understanding.
- Worked in Manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong Brand Building skills
- Strong project management skills - able to lead multiple projects and implement them all well.
- Ability to handle multi-market stakeholders and global brand governance policies.
- Strong people performance - able to inspire and mobilise people (both direct reports and a broad range of others) to deliver great results
